§ 6.18.210. Inspection prerequisite to issuance.

The chief of police or his representative shall inspect, or cause such inspection, of each bicycle before licensing. The chief of police shall not license any bicycle which violates any provision of this chapter. An owner who wishes to license a previously owned bicycle shall verify to the chief of police or his representative that the bicycle is equipped with functioning brakes, as described in section 6.18.150.
