§ 18.18.302. Applicable and Related Procedures.
(a)
An applicant for a certificate of appropriateness shall obtain any special use permit or variance required by provisions of Title 18 in addition to any required certificate of appropriateness. A certificate of appropriateness must be obtained prior to submission of any required special use permit or variance application.
(b)
The applicant may request that a certificate of appropriateness be run as a concurrent application from the historical resources commission and the planning commission, however, the applicant does so at his own risk.
(c)
When the historical resources commission recommends a change in plans that requires a variance, the historical resources commission recommendation shall not be binding on the planning commission or city council in their review of the variance application.
