§ 6.30.270. Bus stops and taxicab stands.

  • A person shall not stop, stand or park a vehicle other than a bus in a bus stop, or a taxicab in a taxicab stand, when such stop or stand has been officially designated with red curb painted on top and curb face, stenciled with "bus only " or "taxi only" in white paint. Limit lines shall be placed at each end of the zone with white marking paint extending eight feet perpendicular to the curb face. Appropriate signs shall be erected at the beginning and end of each zone stating the type of zone. The penalty for the violation of this section shall be the sum of $15.00, minimum.
