§ 6.10.045. Identification required.

  • (a)

    A vehicle used by a booting company, during use, must be equipped with:

    (1)

    A prominent and conspicuous display on both sides of the vehicle showing the booting company's business name, business telephone number and dispatch telephone number. No identification or insignia shall be used, and no wording shall be used, that would reasonably cause a person to confuse the booting company with any public law enforcement agency.

    (b)

    Each person conducting booting operations within the city shall wear outside of his or her clothing an identification card clearly displaying the person's photograph, name and business name. No identification or insignia shall be worn, and no wording shall be used, that would reasonably cause a person to confuse the booting company with any public law enforcement agency.
