This chapter establishes the minimum procedural requirements for business licenses
issued by the city, and shall be known as the Medical Marijuana Establishment Code.
Nothing in this chapter shall be deemed or construed to exempt any organization from
complying with the provisions of any other ordinance of the city, including but not
limited to permit requirements, zoning requirements, nuisance ordinances and restrictions
on privileged or illegal activities. Notwithstanding any future revisions in the Nevada
Constitution or Nevada Revised Statutes which authorizes recreational use of marijuana,
the provisions contained herein authorizing medical marijuana establishments within
the city do not apply to the recreational use of marijuana, which is set forth in chapter 5.22.
