§ 5.20.010. Definitions.

(a)

City means the City of Reno, a municipal corporation of the State of Nevada.

(b)

City council or council means the present governing body of the city or any future council constituting the legislative body of the city.

(c)

City manager means the city manager, or his or her designee.

(d)

Chief of police means the city's chief of police, or his or her designee.

(e)

Film permit means a permit issued under this chapter.

(f)

Fire chief means the city's fire chief, or his or her designee.

(g)

News purposes means the filming or videotaping for television news broadcasting by reporters and cameramen in the employ of a news service or similar entity, of news events concerning those persons, scenes or occurrences which are in the news.

(h)

Risk manager means the city's risk manager, or his or her designee.

(i)

Permittee means a person who holds a film permit issued under this chapter.
