§ 12.24.040. Schedule of rates and charges.

(1)

Charges for bulk reclaimed water service apply to metered use of water, trucked from a city truck fill facility or temporary connection, during development and construction within subdivisions, dust control, or other approved uses. A water usage charge of $1.84 per 1,000 gallons of water used which shall be subject to an automatic increase by an amount equal to the Consumer Price Index-All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) for the west urban area, as published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics with the measurement period ending with the published index for December of each year with the published index implemented in October; and, a minimum charge of $25.00 per quarter will be applied while the account is open. If applicable, the minimum charge will be billed at the end of each quarter year (end of March, June, September and December).

A one-time fee of $25.00 per card will be charged to set up a truck fill card. Cards are issued to a specific truck and may not be transferred or shared with other trucks regardless of the ownership of the truck.

A fee of $10.00 will be charged to replace a lost or damaged truck fill card.

(4)

If payment is not received by the due date of payment specified on the bill, a late payment-processing fee on the outstanding balance and a handling fee will be charged in the amount of $5.00 and the service may be discontinued.
