§ 10.04.010. General powers.

The provisions of this chapter contemplate the general supervision by the health officer of all matters pertaining to the sanitary conditions of the city and the public institutions thereof over all questions of defective drainage, disinfecting and sanitary cleaning of all public places, and the abatement of all nuisances prejudicial to the health of the citizens, or any of them, and for the prevention of the development and spread of infectious and contagious diseases.
